Allergies affect 1 in 4 people in the uk with as many
as half of those affected being children. The most common symptoms are sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, wheezing, coughing,
shortness of breath and rashes. The most common causes are pollen, house dustmite, moulds, pets, foods and chemicals.
If you think you may have an allergy our fully trained
staff will be able to provide specialist testing and advice. The initial consultation will involve a thorough discussion
of your allergy, followed by lung function and skin prick allergy testing. We test for over 40 allergens including house
dustmite, pets and various foods. You will recieve the results of your tests immediately and be given treatment advice
at your consultation. If necessary blood samples can be sent for RAST allergy testing but this is usually unnecessary. You
will recieve a allergy report in plain language explaining the diagnosis and treatment options.
